Delivery Path Before Assembly
Measure doors, hall turns and stairs before unpacking the chair. The main body may already be close to its final width, and attaching side panels can make it harder to move. Position the heavy base first whenever the manufacturer allows it.
Side Panels, Footrest and Mechanical Connections
Match panels and footrest components to the correct side and connection points. Some units use air hoses, harness plugs or mechanical links in addition to bolts. These connections should be routed without pinching as the panels close around them.
Recline and Wall Clearance
Massage chairs often recline or slide forward during operation. Leave the manufacturer’s required wall clearance and confirm nearby furniture does not obstruct the footrest. The static footprint alone is not enough for placement planning.
Power and Controls
Connect factory wiring and the supplied power cord only as instructed. New outlets, circuit changes or internal electronics repair remain separate electrical or appliance-repair scope.
If the request includes several fitness/recovery products, fitness equipment assembly and installation may better describe the overall project.
Final Function Check
Before full use, confirm panels are secure, cords are free and moving sections cycle without visible obstruction. Call NJ-GoodHome at (223) 226-1828 with the model and access details.
Within a massage chair assembly request, assembly & installation and ab machine assembly stay separate paths when either issue expands beyond this page’s scope.
