Bench Frame and Adjustable Positions
Build the base square and verify adjustment holes, seat/back pads and locking pins align. An adjustable bench should move through its positions without the frame twisting or a pin carrying load on only one side.
Pads, Rollers and Attachments
Back pads, seat pads, leg developers or preacher-curl components often use several similar bolts. Keep spacers and bushings with the correct pivot. Padding should sit centered so fasteners do not pull through one side.
Floor Contact and Workout Space
All feet should contact the floor firmly. The bench also needs room for a user to approach with weights and to adjust the back angle. If used inside a rack, check that the bench fits between uprights and aligns with safeties.
Racks and Larger Strength Systems
A power rack or rig adds taller framing and anchoring questions. Use power rack and rig installation when the main project is the rack rather than the bench. A cable-based multi-station strength machine belongs under home gym assembly and installation rather than the standalone bench scope.
Weight Storage and Accessories
Plate trees, storage pegs or leg attachments should be installed where the manufacturer intends. Do not overload accessory storage beyond product guidance.
Details to Provide
Call NJ-GoodHome at (223) 226-1828 with the equipment model, room size and photos of the floor or existing rack if the bench must integrate with it.
For a project with several products, use assembly and installation services and list each item separately.
