Cabinet Size and Wall Location
Confirm the wall-bed cabinet height, width, depth and swing-down footprint against the room. Ceiling height, baseboards, outlets and nearby doors can affect placement. The bed also needs clear floor area when open.
Frame, Cabinet and Lift Mechanism
Assemble the cabinet square before connecting the bed frame. Springs, pistons or counterbalance hardware are model-specific and should be installed in the exact sequence described by the manufacturer. Do not tension or substitute components by guesswork.
Structural Wall Attachment
A wall bed generally requires secure fastening to suitable wall structure. Identify studs, masonry or other structural backing before drilling. Hollow-wall anchors alone may not meet the product requirement. If the wall needs new structural backing, that work should be scoped separately.
Mattress and Operating Clearance
Use the mattress size and weight range specified by the system. Too much or too little weight can affect the balance mechanism. Check that the bed opens without hitting lights, furniture or trim.
A conventional frame belongs on bed and bed frame assembly; a permanent wall bed keeps its own mounting intent.
