Base, Pole and Reflector Assembly
Freestanding heaters usually begin with a weighted or enclosed base, followed by pole sections, burner housing and reflector. Keep the reflector panels flat and align their overlap correctly so the finished top is symmetrical rather than warped.
Propane Models and Cylinder Area
Propane heaters may include a regulator and hose supplied by the manufacturer. Assembly can position those parts as designed, but gas leaks, regulator problems or new gas piping require appropriate specialist scope. The cylinder area should remain accessible for connection and replacement.
Electric Heater Mounting
Electric patio heaters can be freestanding or mounted. Wall/ceiling mounting depends on substrate and required clearances. Hardwiring or creating a new circuit is separate electrical work unless qualified scope is verified.
Combustible Clearances and Placement
Heat output makes clearance from ceilings, awnings, siding and furniture important. Use the manufacturer’s required distances and place freestanding units where normal foot traffic will not knock them over.
For permanent overhead systems or broader outdoor comfort work, use the relevant exterior and outdoor services page rather than stretching basic heater assembly.

Call NJ-GoodHome at (223) 226-1828 with the model, fuel type and patio photos so assembly can be separated from utility or structural work.
Within a patio heater assembly request, assembly & installation and patio umbrella assembly stay separate paths when either issue expands beyond this page’s scope.
