TV Size, VESA Pattern and Mount Type
Confirm the mount supports the television’s size, weight and VESA pattern. Fixed, tilting and full-motion arms place different leverage on the wall. Assemble the bracket according to the mount instructions before drilling into the wall.
Stud, Masonry or Other Wall Structure
The attachment method depends on what is behind the finish. Full-motion mounts typically demand stronger support than a light fixed bracket. If the intended position misses suitable structure, adding backing or changing the location may be safer than relying on inappropriate hollow-wall anchors.
Height, Viewing Position and Furniture
Choose screen height around seating and room layout, not an arbitrary universal number. Check whether a console, fireplace, windows or reflected light affects the position. A soundbar may mount below the TV or to a compatible bracket depending on the product.
Cable Management and Existing Power
Low-voltage cable management can be planned around the wall and furniture. New outlets, concealed line-voltage wiring or circuit changes require qualified electrical scope. NJ-GoodHome does not claim licensed electrical work without verified credentials.
For media furniture rather than wall mounting, see TV stand and media furniture assembly.

Call (223) 226-1828 with the TV size, mount model, soundbar model and full-wall photo so mounting and power questions are visible before the visit.
Within a tv & soundbar mounting request, assembly & installation and ab machine assembly stay separate paths when either issue expands beyond this page’s scope.
