Coverage Before Mounting
Identify entrances, driveways, side yards or interior areas that need visibility. Camera height and angle should capture useful detail without being blocked by eaves, vegetation or glare.
Wired, PoE, Wi-Fi or Battery Cameras
Battery cameras mainly need secure mounting and network setup. Plug-in units need accessible power. PoE and hardwired systems can require cable routes, switches or qualified low-voltage/electrical scope.
Exterior Mounting Surface
Siding, soffit, brick and trim each need appropriate fastening. Cable penetrations should be weather-managed and positioned so water cannot follow a cable into the wall.
Network and Recording Setup
Wi-Fi strength, NVR location and storage/subscription choices are product-specific. Basic device pairing can be part of installation, but NJ-GoodHome does not promise ongoing cybersecurity administration or cloud-account support.
