Kit Inventory and Wall Panels
Confirm floor sections, wall frames, roof parts, doors, windows and trim against the manual before spreading hardware outdoors. Pre-drilled panels can be orientation-specific, so labels should stay visible until the shell is square.
Base Surface and Level
A playhouse built on an uneven base can rack the walls and make doors or roof panels misalign. Verify the manufacturer’s base requirement. New slabs, foundations or substantial grading are separate site-preparation work. If the playhouse needs a constructed base, discuss outdoor structure foundation installation before the new kit is assembled.
Walls, Roof and Weather Details
Square the floor and wall assembly before locking the roof in place. Roof panels, caps and trim should overlap in the designed direction so water does not run into joints. Outdoor fasteners should be used where supplied rather than swapped for indoor furniture hardware.
Doors, Windows and Child Access
Doors and shutters should open without binding, and any ladder or platform included in the kit should follow the product’s stated arrangement. This service does not certify the product to a particular playground standard.
A larger elevated structure with swings or climbing elements belongs on playset and swing set assembly.
Anchoring and Final Site Check
