Unit Weight and Base
A filled spa can place substantial load on a small footprint. The manufacturer’s base requirements should be matched to an existing slab, approved pad or properly designed deck. NJ-GoodHome does not treat unverified soil or a decorative patio surface as automatically suitable for every unit.
Delivery Path and Final Position
Measure gates, corners, stairs and overhead obstructions before delivery. The unit may need to travel on edge or require special handling that should be planned before it arrives. Final orientation should preserve access to equipment panels and drains.
Electrical and Plumbing Boundaries
Hardwired spa circuits, disconnects and new electrical feeds are qualification-dependent electrical work. Water fill is different from permanent plumbing. These items must be identified separately instead of being hidden inside a generic installation price.
Cold Plunge and Smaller Systems
Cold plunges and compact spas may have different weight and connection requirements but still need a stable, drain-aware location. Share the exact product rather than assuming all units use the same setup.
For finish work around the unit, see hot tub surround installation. Call (223) 226-1828 with product, base and access details.
Within a hot tub, spa & cold plunge installation request, exterior & outdoor and hot tub cover installation stay separate paths when either issue expands beyond this page’s scope.
