Kit Pavilion or Site-Built Project
Prefabricated pavilion systems come with defined post spacing, beam connections and roof packages. A fully custom pavilion with engineered framing or major site work is a broader construction scope. Identify which project you have before treating it as ordinary assembly.
Posts, Footings and Base Geometry
The structure depends on accurate post layout. Concrete, piers or specified anchors must match the kit and site. Establish square diagonals and elevations before beams go up, because small post-location errors are difficult to hide at the roof.
Roof Framing and Panels
Pavilion roofs may use rafters/trusses plus metal or shingle-compatible decking. The assembly sequence, temporary bracing and roof-panel alignment are central to the job. Roofing work beyond the kit’s defined system can become separate scope.
A gazebo with enclosed screens/panels belongs on gazebo assembly and installation, while an open slatted system fits pergola assembly and installation.

For pavilion installation, exterior & outdoor remains the separate route when that adjacent need becomes the main customer task.
