Match the Product to the Hazard
A pressure-mounted gate may be suitable for some room openings but is not automatically appropriate at the top of stairs. Cabinet latches, outlet covers, anti-tip anchors and edge guards each solve different risks and should be installed according to product instructions.
Stair Gates and Mounting Surfaces
Top-of-stair gates generally need secure hardware mounting and enough structure at both sides. Banisters, hollow drywall and unusual trim can require adapters or different products rather than improvised fasteners.
Furniture Anchoring
Dressers, bookcases and media units may require anti-tip anchoring. Wall material and furniture design affect attachment. Dedicated furniture assembly still belongs on Furniture Assembly.
Scope Boundary
This service supports installation of accepted safety devices; it does not certify a home as childproof or eliminate supervision needs. Call (223) 226-1828 with product links and photos of each mounting location.
