Placement Follows the Movement
A bar beside a toilet serves a different transfer than a vertical/angled bar at a shower entry. The intended hand position and movement path should guide location rather than copying a generic layout from another bathroom.
Wall Structure and Finish
Tile, fiberglass surrounds and painted drywall require different drilling/anchoring approaches. Secure attachment depends on framing/blocking or a suitable rated anchoring method. Surface adhesive alone is not a substitute for structural support.
Bar Length and Obstructions
Valve trim, shelves, glass doors and towel bars can conflict with the desired support location. Verify clear hand space and door/enclosure movement before drilling.

For grab bar installation, safety & accessibility remains the separate route when that adjacent need becomes the main customer task.
