Support Points Matter More Than Accessory Count
Grab bars, handrails, toilet safety equipment and shower seating need to be located where they support actual movement. Mounting should use suitable structure or an approved anchoring system rather than placing devices only where they look symmetrical.
Tub and Shower Entry
High tub sides, narrow shower openings and slippery transitions can create access challenges. Focused devices may help, but a layout that fundamentally does not work can require Accessible Bathroom Remodeling or a Tub-to-Shower Conversion.
Toilet and Reach
Toilet supports, reachable storage and clear floor area can be considered together. Shelf/rod lowering is a separate Shelf & Closet Rod Lowering intent.
