Document Before Disassembly
Older playsets may not have a manual. Photograph joints, hardware and accessory positions before sections are separated. Label hardware by tower, ladder, swing beam or slide so reassembly does not depend on memory.
Condition Check During the Move
Relocation exposes fasteners and wood/metal connections that may be worn, corroded or damaged. Unsafe components should be identified rather than automatically reinstalled. Replacement parts may need to be sourced separately.
New Site and Anchoring
The destination should provide level space, appropriate clearances and a base compatible with the manufacturer/system. Anchoring requirements can change if the original anchors cannot be reused.
